Cone Beam Scanner 3D Imaging

3D imaging provides better quality and more detailed images than traditional x-rays. This new technology is also less invasive and emits less radiation than traditional x-ray machines.

3D printers

We have onsite 3D printers that assist our doctors’ surgical capabilities by creating surgical guides for dental implants, as well as providing our patients with custom appliances for bruxism, sleep apnea, and TMJ. This new technology provides our patients with better treatment in less time.

Digital X-Ray

Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays.  The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment.  Digital x-rays are instant, there is no longer a need to develop the film.  Digital x-rays save time and increase patient care.  It’s also a very green technology.  By eliminating film, developer and chemical waste it is better for you and the environment!

Digital Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera combines the latest video technologies with dental care. Both the patient and dentist can see detailed images of the teeth and mouth in real time. With an intraoral camera, you are able to better understand what is happening in your mouth and review the status of your oral health.

Prophy-Jet Polishers

Traditionally, teeth are polished using a rotating rubber cup and an abrasive paste. Prophy-jet polishing, however, uses an air polishing system with a combination of pressurized water and baking soda to remove more stubborn stains.

MicrobelinkDx® DNA testing

MicrobelinkDx® uses cutting-edge DNA-PCR technology to help identify periodontal disease and the possible health consequences caused by untreated periodontal disease. This highly personalized periodontal therapy can be developed and carried out by the general practitioner.

MicrobelinkDx® uses an 11-microbes™ paper point sampling system to detect pathogenic bacteria at the base of an infection. With results available in as little as 72 hours, early detection means early treatment – before bone loss and before the pathogens have been carried systemically.

PRF/PRP

Platelet Rich Fibrin and Platelet Rich Plasma therapies are new techniques that can assist with tissue regeneration by using the patient’s own tissues and centrifugation to minimize healing time and maximize healing potential following procedures.

These growth factors are in the form of a mixed gel that can be applied directly into tooth sockets and other sites. Placing this material in tooth sockets after tooth extractions can improve soft tissue healing and positively influence bone regeneration.

PRP is derived from the centrifugation of a patient’s own blood and contains growth factors that influence wound healing. This is important in tissue repairing mechanisms. The use of PRP in surgical practice could have beneficial outcomes, reducing bleeding and enhancing soft tissue healing and bone regeneration.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer affects thousands of Americans yearly. We use the latest technology to detect changes in oral tissue consistencies and/or lesions. A specialized light is shined into the mouth to detect unhealthy tissue. Healthy tissue looks lighter under the light while spots of bad tissue appear dark. With early detection, cancer may be caught before it has time to spread, potentially saving lives.

Piezo Electric Handpieces

These handpieces are used during periodontal (gum) and osseous (bone) surgery to gently and meticulously used to remove harmful bacteria without requiring additional invasive measures.
